feeling concerned

I was just notified by my doctor that I needed to come in for a biopsy. I recently had a internal ultrasound. About a month ago, I had a very light period (only a day). I felt like I was about to start my monthly period a day before, and out of no where, I wiped and there was a pink tint. Later the next day  brown mucus (sorry). I havent had a period for almost 2 years, I'm 53 years old. So my doctor did an exam, my yearly pap and the ultrasound of my ovaries. The pap was fine, my uterus lining is good, my ovaries are good, but they found "mucus trapped in my uterus" those were her exact words. So now I wait for 4 days for the biospy.  Has this ever happened to anyone. I'm feeling very concerned. Thank you in advance!

Hi sympathise with your situation. I've been there albeit a little different as I had a tumour. The waiting is the worst part. My one piece of advice is not to google things as you will make yourself truly I'll with worry and your family too. Concentrate on the fact you are in the right position having your tests done and the biopsy will tell your docs what they need to know. Whatever it is know you will desk with it if it arises and there are treatments for most things. Take what support is offered but stay positive. I know that's hard it my experience has taught me this.

    all best wishes x

Thank you so much catspells1. I'm trying to stay Postive and hopefully if it's anything I pray it's at the early stage and can be taken care of. Thank you again

I agree. You can go nuts googling things. Stay calm, do what makes you feel eat well, rest and don't second guess things. Good luck.
