Feeling crap

Morning all,
just after some reassurance. Ive been put on antibiotics previously for an attack of diverticulitis which seemed to work fairly well as i remember but also remember the horrible time I had with the pain, chills, nausea, etc. Im now being treated again with antibiotics following a phone consultation with G as visits are restricted due to Covid. . We both consider it another flare up. however this time i seem to have an uncomfortable pain in my upper back, at times i feel my heart is racing and also feeling quite tearful. I know im anxious with all the Covid 19 at the moment just wondering if that is adding to everything. I started the antibiotics yesterday, Cipro and Metronidazole and she said if no improvement or getting worse by Wednesday/ Thursday to get back to her.
I should be retiring from my job in a school next week but currently off sick, not the ideal way to finish up.
In your opinion does each time seem to get worse?
Thanks
Alison

I think it's an individual thing. For me personally no it varies each time. But for others it does get worse, resulting sometimes in the need for surgery, if complications develop. After 20 years, I've learned what I can and can't eat, and have not had a full attack for 4 years, just twinges.
