feeling depressed and confused

I just sometimes have to ask WHY? Why me? my fissure has obviously come back with a vengence. My doctor about a month ago prescribed the special compounding ointment to use and I completely changed my diet habits to eating all healthy whole foods. Tons of fruit and veggies. No red meat of any kind just fish. Drinking tons of water too. I went about 2 weeks feeling great and no blood and then BOOM today some blood and that horrible pinch you feel. No drastic pain or anything. Does this happen to any of you?

I can honestly say that I know how you feel. After treatment earlier in the year, I had been feeling much more positive, as although things weren't 100% better it was certainly very near. However, today I had a difficult time going to the toilet and for the first time in months now have some pain. I will admit to 'falling off the wagon' somewhat with the fruit and veg and water, but have been using linseeds and taking Dulcoease regularly. I will now have to be very careful as I don't want to go back to how things were last year when the pain would make me cry. I think I had got a bit overconfident as I haven't had the pain for a while, and thought I could go back to how I used to be, eating anything and not taking care with my diet. Just carry on doing what you are doing with the diet and water - with any luck this will just be a blip. You certainly aren't alone - hope this helps a little.

so sorry that your fissure came back...that really must feel horrible both mentally and physically......I will tell you that if you have a chronic fissure, which I had too, I would not totally ignore the surgery as an option......If you want any feedback on the surgery please feel free to message me....I had the surgery and have never been happy with somehting more in my life.....As long as you have a veery good surgeon...the chances of all the side effects you hear of are very slim...
feel free to message me
Best,
Myles
