FEELING DEPRESSED AND SO DEBILITATED JUST DIAGNOSED WITH ANEMIA

I was experiencing heart palpitations, i couldnt breath or exert myself because i am out of breath...panic attack...extreme cold in my body...recently after blood test i got diagnosed with anemia...but i am not bleeding...i am 59 and do not have the menstruation anymore...any idea why i may be anemic? i dont see any blood coming from my body...anyone can relate with this situation? i am waiting to go for more tests...but it is slow...i am in Canada, Ontario. I appreciate any comments that may help me to understand this better. Thank you so much - Alicia

    Have you donated blood recently?

    Are you taking a multi vitamin with iron and iron rich food?

    It could be as simple as needing an iron supplement.
