Feeling fine for a change.

Hi All.

I've not been on in a week or there abouts and feeling fine today. I had a job interview the week before last which went well, they wanted to see me again for a second interview (apparently 200 applied and after ther first interview stage, narrowed it down to me and one other for the job) was supposed to have had my second interview today but the company have had second thoughts about the job and may now make it part time instead. How annoying. I've been on sick leave this week with tonsillitis and being at home was doing my head in, but back at work now and even though I haven't had the second interview I'm feeling strangely happy. Feeling positive today but brains are weird things and I could be in a completely different place tomorrow

Sorry for posting such a random discussion. I just thought to myself: I normally post or respond to other people who are depressed when I'm feeling depressed or anxious myself. A depression forum can be a very negative place so why not show that it is possible for us to have a happy moment when we're going through what feels like the hardest time of our lives. It actually feels weird typing this because normally I'm looking for advice but I hope you all can find something positive in your week which will make you happy. Be strong and the happier times will come.

Tony

I'm really pleased you are feeling more positive. We all know that we'll get through depression, even if it doesn't feel like it at times. It's nice to hear someone coming out of it. Stay positive and take care xxx

Great Q, whatever it is you are doing keep doing it. That might be your key. I too have my better moments for a good while sometimes but then find myself back in the old "tank" So, good luck to you and hope it stays with you forever.
