Feeling flat after no codeine

im starting week 4 of quitting codeine but im just feeling so flat, as if im not enjoying life! is this normal??

Sure is! If you have abused opiates for more than a few weeks, your brain in more than likely depleted of its natural feel good chemicals. Your body and brain naturally create chemicals called neurotransmitters. you have abused opiates for more than a few weeks, your brain in more than likely depleted of its natural feel good chemicals. It will take time to replace these chemicals and a good way to help bring them back is by going to the gym walking running or any fitness activity as this help replace what you have lost!

its a big help Nathan! Yes ive been reading up on it and i realise ive got to start creating or recreating those feel good factors in my life again. Yesterday was a better day thankfully!
