Feeling hopeless after haemorrhoid removal surgery

hi all, im on day 18 of haemorrhoid removal surgery (2 internal & 3 external) and am still in so much pain. the pain has lessened than when i first had it but its still soooooo bad. doing everything i can (meds, stool softeners, showering after bm) but its affecting my mental health hugely. im cooped up in the house - walking any length is sore- uncomfy in so many positions, cant play with my 14 month old daughter properly etc. I feel really hopeless - like this was the stupidest thing i could have ever done & scared ill never be pain free
