I'm so sorry to hear that you were having a hard time. I know how you feel. My body starts misbehaving when I have to go out and do something. I feel stressed or tension in my body or unfocused. Or I feel off balanced when I walk. It's awful. Sometimes it may be good to steal away to the ladies room and try doing some deep breathing and see if it helps. A lot of our symptoms have to do with anxiety. I posted on this a few years ago a post entitled, "Over 100 anxiety symptoms " You'd be shocked to know how many of our menopause symptoms are actually triggered by anxiety. If you can't find the post here on this forum then you can Google the title I mentioned. Hope this helps. Take care.

    Xx

Hello Sharcerv. I just googled 100 anxiety symptoms and i am amazed that so many symptoms relate to peri and meno. Makes me wonder whats really going on in my body. It seems that everything is triggered by anxiety. My anxiety came before many other symptoms that were listed. Makes me want to take care of the anxiety thus would solve mostly everything else. Thank you for your post this morning. Have a good day.

Yes, the decline in hormones trigger a reaction in our central nervous system which causes cortisal(the stress hormone) to increase. This is what triggers the anxiety or "flight or fight" reaction. Then as you see it can cause any number of problems resulting from anxiety. It is a horrible mess. Maybe that's why doctors try to put us on antidepressants because they know that it is mostly anxiety behind all of these symptoms. If we can nix the anxiety then we can nix all of these crazy symptoms. And God forbid you have to take BP meds, then they too come bearing crazy symptoms which can cause anxiety. It's a tangled web. I am constantly praying for God to deliver me from these crazy feelings. I pray that for all of us.
