Did you have a blood test recently? Have them check you Iron, magnesium, b12, and vitamin D levels. When those are low they can make you wabbly

A good first step by "rocksolid".  This could be a peripheral polyneuropathy.  I suggest seeing a neurologist.

Is your sugar ok? Your oxygen level? I would first start at your regular doctor for complete blood tests and the ones that have been mentioned - sooner than later. The sooner you start, the faster you'll get to feeling well again!

I'm 74 also. My vertigo started about 10 years ago. First the dizziness

and really sick, vomiting. Several times a year I went through this for

at least 2 to 3 days at a time.

Now, for the last few years it's banging in the head. Three years ago

it started off like a tennis ball in my head, banging and banging. It has

upgraded to like a ping pong ball (much faster) associated with

diarrhea. I have it 75% under control when it comes once a month.

Not sure I can mention medications on this forum, all I can say is

    its over the counter.

I'm 36 and had the same symptoms for 6 yrs the vomiting has stopped as I was getting sick up to 5-6 times a day now it's probably about every 6 months or when I have a really bad turn.. But now mainly suffer with headaches and dizziness when walking or standing... Sitting and lying down seems to stop the dizziness. Or having a glass of wine tends to ease the dizziness as I guess it relaxes me

I hope you are feeling better, those of you with vertigo and dizziness.  Fortunately I don't have the vomiting side of it (although I have suffered with nausea on and off for many years now ).   I really sympathise with you all.     Such a nasty condition.  There are medications for it and I hope you find one that works for you.
