Feeling like I always to pee. Like every 5 seconds I have the feeling

Okay so I’d say since about February of this year I’ve had to pee very often. Like 20 times a day. At night sometimes i get up like every 2 minutes because the feeling of having to pee is so uncomfortable it makes me cry and very frustrated. The doctors did blood work to check for diabetes, came back negative. Checked a urine sample say nothing was wrong. This problem is driving me crazy to the point I want to rip my hair out! Please someone help me

There is no need to keep suffering, go back and see your doctor and ask about medication or whether a referral to a urologist would be possible.
Help is available it is just a matter of getting the right treatment. Take care of yourself.

You need to see a different doctor. It's not all in you head and it is affecting your quality of life.
It is important to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day so your urine does not become too concentrated and irritate your bladder.
Go back to the doctors, be friendly but firm and if you feel like crying then cry. Tell them you need help and advice regards diet, pelvic floor exercises and overactive bladder medication, if they say there is nothinng they can do then ask to see someone who can namely a referral to see a urologist.
If you need support take someone with you when you go to see the doctor.
Take care.

I have been having this problem since I had a bout of cystitis a month ago. Now nothing is showing all tests are negative but I’ve been referred to a urologist. Feel like I’m going nuts! Do you have constant pressure?x

Autumn, I felt like you were me writing about the same problem. I've posted many times about the same problem that I have and know how crazy it can drive you, especially at night.
And, like you, it seems paradoxical to drink more water throughout the day when I'm losing so much water in the first place. I only drink one glass of ice coffee in the AM like I've always done.
I'm going through the 'tens' treatment (I forget what it's called for now) where they put a needle in your ankle and a mild electric current goes to your foot for 1/2 hour. I'm in my 8th week and supposed to finish 12. Supposedly it has helped a lot of women.
I don't want to speak too soon, but something has changed (it seems). I definitely am getting up less during the night at the moment but I don't want to speak too soon. Ask your Dr. About this treatment!
It's not in your head. I've tried Myrbetriq (the latest medication for OAB) for 2 months and it did not help at all. I've also been checked for diabetes. Believe me I know how uncomfortable it is just having the urge. It's impossible to concentrate on anything else.
This electrical treatment (sort of like acupuncture) just might be working. I just don't want to talk too soon.

Glad your doing better. Glad your going to finish the 12 week course. I am definitely much betterl. Of course, I'll never be perfect and still have bad days. But there gettting less and less. Like you, there was a time I'd get up 6 times a night now I only get up once or twice. This is my third month on maintenance and I seem to be improving each month. Think its worth a try Autumn

Autumn,
The treatment I am getting is "Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS)". Please ask your Dr. about it and don't let him tell you it's all in your head. They don't know what causes this if all the tests are OK, so they treat it trial and error.
I'll keep you posted if the treatment works at all.

Autumn, I had the same problem around 12 years ago. With me, it was I couldn't urinate. I had to get up and go to the toilet much like you. It was frustrating and depressing. I went through three surgeries, for an enlarged prostate, and finally a year go, my uro introduced me to self-cathing. It's the best thing yet for my condition. Now, I go around with an empty bladder, so it's hours before having to urinate. I don't know if it would help with your problem, but the next time you see your uro, ask him, for his opinion. Good luck!
