Oh Cats Eyes I'm so sorry you're feeling so sad and unwell

Have you asked whether your GP could refer you for some counselling?

A lot of surgeries have counsellors either on-site or in a nearby surgery....sometimes there is a longish waiting list but at least you'd know you were in the system then. :ok:

Otherwise, what about ringing Cruse - they are specialists in a all forms of bereavement and could either speak to you on the phone (I think) or suggest someone near you who you could go and see.

Meanwhile, lots of hot drinks, hot water bottle, duvet, and maybe look up support people in your area on the internet.... :coffee: :tea:

It's lovely and sunny here today, although, yes , it is very cold, which doesn't help our aches and pains at all does it...... :weird:

I do hope you start to feel a bit better soon

    Take care of yourself

Oh cats eyes, I'm so sorry you are feeling so miserable and unhappy and missing your dear mum so sad

I think you must ask for some form of counselling as Daisy suggests ... it's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and so many bereaved folk have been helped tremendously. Do follow up what Daisy has suggested, particularly Cruse ..... I have heard they are excellent.

You need to share and talk over your grief with someone who is not within your family unit and did not know your mother .... I'm sure you can be helped, so please do try.

This horrible cold winter is doing nothing to help any of us, and the fact that we are so restricted in what we can do means that we have that much more time to dwell on things.

Take care and do hope you find some much-needed help soon.

    Katie xx :cuddle:

CE, I really do understand, especially about wanting your mum. But I am not in a position to offer help atm as I feel as wretched as you do just now.

    Hang in there x

oh cats eyes im sorry you're having such a bad time sad

it really does sound as if your bereavement is exacerbating your symptoms - maybe some counselling would be a really good idea?

    sending you a big hug

Of course, why didn't I think of it. I am so stupid.

It is coming up to my birthday and the anniversary of when mum died. That's why I feel crap and also why CE feels crap. We are missing our mums.

Hug to you, Alicia  and to Cats Eyes

Isn't it strange how we \"know\" these anniversaries even when we don't think we're aware of them? :rose:
