I believe it is normal. I am on week 9 now - there are some days I feel energised but there are some days, more often, so lethargic - tired, no motivation, just want to sleep all day, even to grab dinner was quite an effort too
initially took the med in the morning as suggested by both my GP and pharmacist, however I found that I felt lethargic all day long so I tried taking them at night after dinner. feels ok but still experience chest pain and muscle tension in my back and still feels anxious every now and then. from what I've been reading in this forum, it seems that it could take months before our body gets adjusted to
this med.
take care

first few weeks on flu I couldn't sleep well at night, especially on Sunday night because I dreaded going back to work the following day. I even tried valerian to help me sleep yet to no avail.on the third week I found that I fell asleep easily even though I still felt tension in my chest.
on the fourth week, for one day only, I felt so relaxed and peacceful, haven't felt that relaxed for a long time. only lasted for a day though, the day after that I felt the tension coming back again. since then it has just been up and down - trying to hang in there. had it not been for this forum I would have just given up the med really as the side effects are bad
have you tried going out for a walk or working out for 20mins-30mins? I know it is difficult when we barely had any motivation to do anything at all, but it did improve my mood slightly
I found that being in the company of others does not make me anxious as much - glad my friends and my hubby are very understanding and supportive of my condition. they listen when I am venting off my frustation, yelling and screaming and always encourage me to be strong. do you have any close friends or family who you can rely on
take care hun,

I did notice in the first week or two I actually felt more anxious and more tension in my chest than before I started taking them. felt like I was easily irritated and anxious by even smaller things. what you've been feeling is normal, i was there too when I first took it
feel like there has been an improvement in how I respond to issues/crisis/ problems these days. Instead of fuelled by anger and anxious thoughts to respond to a bad situation, I now will try to reasses the situation and ask myself is it really a big deal , would this even matter few years from now. Though it still doesn't happen every time a problem presents but I believe I am getting there. I was worse before taking the med and in the first few weeks of taking the flu
good for you. does doing exercise help improving your mood at all? happy to chat anytime if you need
don't give up hun, it could be weeks or months before we can feel any improvements but we will definitely get there , I am sure of it
