i have had mono for about a month and have just been sore had all tests done everything came back fine besides mono count which was 160.
ive had the muscle pains, neck sorness all of which i have started to figure how to deal with, but these last few days ive felt need to urinate frequently but little to none comeout. Has anyone else expiernced this and should i worry or is it just a part of the process. or could it just be some dehydration cause i havent drank as much water as when it all started.

I have had the need to urinate constantly but i also drink a ton of water. I can literally walk out of the bathroom and sit on the couch and already have to pee again sometimes its normal sometimes hardly any comes out. Pretty aggravating to say the least.

Hi Wyatte,
So sorry to hear that you are going through mono, and I definitely empathise having been through a tough time with the virus a number of years ago. I remember how that first month was, just felt totally beaten up and unwell like you Wyatte, and I absolutely want to reassure you that things will get better and you will get through this - it can take a little time to get over this fully but be assured that you will get there.
It's so important you rest and remove stress as much as possible at this stage, this virus really needs respect and in many cases the worst thing can be to try and 'push through' and keep going with working at full pelt and a busy lifestyle - you really need to give your body proper rest and recovery time with this, but believe me Wyatte you will get there, just take it one day at a time as I remember how tough and draining it was to get through a single day when in the acute phase.
I have read some others talk about symptoms with their bladder and urination, I do empathise with this too having been going through a prostatitis / weak bladder for the last 18 months too. Thankfully I was fortunate not really to have those symptoms during mono, but I have read others on the forum mention it can be a symptom, but remember all symptoms of this do pass over with time.
Definitely drink plenty of water if you can and taking vitamins and herbs can be helpful too -let me know if you want a note of the supplements that I found helpful, I've posted them on other threads but happy to post again if it might help at all.
Hang in there and remember you WILL get well again - with God's help!
Craig

Hi Wyatte,
I have had random urination issues-going frequently. I wake up at least once a night to urinate. However, I am going a full amount. No idea where it is all coming from.
