Hi all
this is my 11th week on escitalapram 9 weeks on 10mg and 2 weeks on 15mg and i just feel numb we things ever get better ?
HELP PLEASE

if no success, do a switchover to sertraline instead of escitalopram (50mg sertraline for 2 weeks and then decide if want to go up to 100mg....no need to taper off, just replace the escitalopram with sertraline)

I've tried sertraline it's not for me I've tried about 5 different ad's with no joy I was on citalopram for years and it worked well but just stopped working 3 years ago

Give it 4-6 wks. After that talk to your Dr. Im sorry you are not doin great. Depression and anxiety suck!

I agree 100% with zio, Don. It is a slow process, but you are following the right path. Review things with your doc after 4-6wks (I'd say 6wks really) to have given the 15mg fair chance. You still have the leeway to go up a notch in dose if necessary. Take care. x
