7 weeks tomorrow on 50mg of sertraline.

the past few days I've had a strange feeling of being a little bit out of it.

feeling odd and detatched and it's so scary.

anyone else experience this at this or similar at this time frame?

it's making my anxiety a lot lot worse 😓

I got the detached feeling for about two to three weeks after the 7th week. Very strange feeling like that. Literally had the exact same wording as you in my journal when I looked it up btw. Are you seeing any improvement? If not your doc might be right about upping your dose. I do understand how you feel though, every increase brings it's own effects. I would not step from 50 to 100mg straight off though. I would do it in increments of 25mg. Doubling your dose might be too much too handle all at once. Hope to hear some good news soon from you too...

sorry for the late reply buddy x I moved up to 75mg a few days ago and nearly pulled a whitey today.

I was so panicky so had to have half a diazipam to calm down. strangely though my mind wasnt panicking. it was just my body.

so yeah 100mg is too much for now x

you're right that detatched feeling has scared the crap out of me but I'm starting to feel less worried as it does seem to be normal for some x

hopefully having no anxiety for a few days has given you a bit of hope they are working for you . 😊

The first hour or two in the morning is still a little hard, but no where near what it had been. No more dark thoughts, anxiety, or agitation after that. Yeah, I think that once you know you're almost there, it kind of lifts a heavy load off your shoulders. I pray that you too get there soon. And don't worry about the lag in response. I'm in the USA so you and I are on different schedules anyway. Wishing you the best...

I started with 25mg for two days, 50mg for 3 days, and then 75mg for 12 weeks, and 87.5mg for 2 weeks or a total of about 15 weeks.
