Feeling of fullness in ear for 5 years

When I was about 17 I got what I thought was an ear infection which was mainly characterized by a feeling of fullness in my ear or like it was blocked. After it didn't go away for a few months I went to an ENT and he said it wasn't an ear infection but likely the cause of my wisdom teeth. I got my wisdom teeth removed last year and still no change. It will be 5 years now that this has gone on and I'm wondering if I should be concerned. 

I've also noticed that in photos where I'm not smiling you can see slight swelling on the right side of my face (the feeling of fullness is only in my right ear)
