Feeling of something stuck in my throat

Hi,

It has been months of this feeling as if i have something stuck in my throat. I have been to see my GP and at first he thought it could be my IBS. He gave me some pills to relax the IBS and advised if this feeling in my throat is still there after IBS is relaxed then come back.

Went back, se then referred me to do a barium swallow scan. After that was done i went to get the results this GP said it came out normal, nothing to worry. He referred me to an Ear Nose and Ear specialist (this was in May). I received the letter for the appointment in Sep 😞 . OMG i am in discomfort and i have to wait for that long?

I startet having other symptoms as well, i feel pressure in my chest, nearer to the throat, and feel like sometimes i cant breathe. I decided to go and see another GP and try to get a second opinion. This other GP said i have a bit of acid reflux and gave me pills and he also thought I suffered from anxiety and referred me to someone to have a chat. Hmm...

I did have this chat and yes i suffer from very mild anxiety but wouldn’t everyone if you have something wrong in your body and dont know what this is?

Apologies if this is so long to read. Anyone else been in the same situation as me?

Thanks in advance,

GI xx

Yes I have similar I feel like I'm constantly clearing my throat !! And having to take deep breaths all the time it drives me mad !!! ...But after numerous checks and xrays etc I feel it must be anxiety but must have been caused by reflux symptoms 😕 I tried emoprozole but they only worked for a week then same feelings again .
