Feeling really down today

Starting to wonder if I'm ever going to get better or at least return to the way I was a year and a half ago?  Friday I'm going back to my usual every 3 week doctor appointment to tell her I'm not improving.  Having ME/CFS is so depressing.

Hi Julie, know the feeling, I was diagnosed 2 years ago and am really fed up with it now. When you see on here people that have suffered for 10/20 years, I don't think I can do it. I see my Dr every 6 weeks or so, when I say things like I'm worried hiw I'm going to cope with say a holiday in 6 weeks time, she says " you could feel better by then" who is she trying to kid !! Actually going away next week to Italy with my husband and in-laws - two city break as a present from them. I feel so ungrateful, I just don't want to go. I know I won't be able to do everything I want to, I'll have to be pushed around I. A wheelchair and will fell dreadful when I get home. It took me a month to recover from my summer holiday, which was relatively relaxing. Feeling your pain x

I have actually been suffering since I was 14 (so now 22 years for ME/CFS).  The specialists have said it's very unlikely now I can ever fully recover - had it too long.  It's just that the last year it has been at it's all time worse.  I'd like to at least return to when it was at a level I didn't feel like poo 70-90% of the day.  Back then I was at about 50% poowink

However, the sun is shining so that makes me smilecool. Hope you're feeling good enough on your holiday to enjoy seeing the different landscapes.  Hey - at least it is a different set of 4 walls you get to stare at on your bad dayslol.x
