    Hi Brittany

Anxiety is the pits, eh? I would have thought that by ten weeks of Flu yours should have subsided so maybe you need to visit your GP to talk about an increased dose or a change to another SSSI. For some people - apparantly - Flu does not work.

Maybe it is working for you only you haven't done enough to calm yourself. Anxiety is nothing more than adrenalin with neither a need to fight not run. Are you doing nice things for yourself, distracting yourself from your thoughts?

As you are still 'sensitive', maybe staying away from stimulants would be a very good thing. Coke has to be a can of panic!! (He says, getting his morning fixes of caffeine and nicotine.) How much stress do you have in your life right now and wht can you do to reduce it?

What dose of Flu are you taking?

Good luck! Is today a good day for a walk where you are?

    Best

    Carl

    Hi, Brittany.

It took me 3 months before I was feeling normal again. Prayer helps alot!  Caffeine definitely will exacerbate anxiety. Stick with it. It is a good med. Keep us informed on how you are doing.

OK. I'm on 40mg. I take clozapem with it.This is my 3rd antidepressant to treat this anxiety. Ive been going through this over a year now. I have thoughts like I will always be this way but like you said prayer helps and I know the Lord is going to see me through some way. It's just extra frustrating when people especially the ones close to you, do not understand what you are going through.

Unless someone has been through this themselves, it's difficult to understand. You can't just "Be happy".  Flu really helps me with anxiety once things level out. But it does take a little time and at first makes it worse, sometimes a lot worse. The Lord will definitely see you through. He is always there. It's just that when you feel that bad, it's sometimes very difficult to realize it. But just keep saying to yourself that "He is with me whether I feel like it or not." Hope you feel much better soon. God bless you and keep us posted.
