I would advise going back to docs and not to ignore symptoms, hope you get sorted.

Had to have them tested over a few weeks and all went back to normal.
I hope it does with you. I realy looked after myself healthy eating wise (once was not feeling sick). I agree with the other comment sent re drinking lots water to flush out also, I also took cranberry juice.
hope you feel better soon.

A good rule is to keep a written account of your symptoms, and which antibiotics you have been prescribed. More importantly, the correct name of those antibiotics which do not "agree" with you. As I'm on a low dose of Augmentin for 3mths until further investigations are complete, I was curious to know what my Consultant's thoughst were on Probiotics. (opposite of antibiotics)! He said would be a good idea to start taking them as I've now been on and off antibiotics since September. They supposedly boost the good flora in the gut. There's plenty of indepth info online this is just a part of info I found :
"Scientists are still sorting out exactly how probiotics work. They may:Boost your immune system by enhancing the production of antibodies to certain vaccines.
Produce substances that prevent infection.
Prevent harmful bacteria from attaching to the gut lining and growing there.
Send signals to your cells to strengthen the mucus in your intestine and help it act as a barrier against infection.
Inhibit or destroy toxins released by certain “bad” bacteria that can make you sick.
Produce B vitamins necessary for metabolizing the food you eat, warding off anemia caused by deficiencies in B6 and B12, and maintaining healthy skin and a healthy nervous system". As antibiotics attack your immune system I ALWAYS take a supplement of Vitamin C when I have to take them. Cranberry juice? Well, I have my reservations there! Although, we're told to drink it and to avoid spicy foods, acidic foods, alcohol, chocolate (the list goes on and on) oh yes CAFFEINE! as these are bladder irritants, my Consultant told me to carry on eating these foods as E Coli bacteria (which most of us have with UTI) is NOT caused by these foodstuffs! I do buy cranberry pills however. Take 4 every morning. Good Luck Ladies, and KEEP SMILING AND DRINKING YA WATER!!!!
