Feeling so low

Posted , 8 users are following.

I just need to write this down as I am feeling really low at the moment.

When does it all get better? I am into my 3rd year now and absolutely sick of the symptoms. I feel like I could cry every time I have a hot flush, I am so sick of them. I rarely sleep more than 3 hours so I am constantly tired and have so many stupid aches and pains.

I have recently been diagnosed with Dysthymia and been off work with anxiety since August.I hate feeling like this and just want it all to go away.

Everything makes me cry and I am struggling to handle my feelings at the moment.

Thanks for reading, I know so many of you feel the same way xx

You are not alone. I've got M.E. so feel constantly shattered all the time anyway with sore joints and muscles. I'm really struggling with the menopause symptoms on top of my M.E. ones. Am really struggling to function a lot of the time. One thing you could try for low mood (which I do for my M.E.) is keep a positive thoughts diary. At the end of the day try and write down anything positive about your day. Even something simple like it was a nice sunny day, you laughed at a TV programme, you ate a nice cake, had a nice day out, etc. Anything at all that gives you pleasure. I do yoga and guided meditation CDs for my M.E. which I feel is also helping with the menopause. Hopefully it will get easier through time. People who have gone through it and come out the other side seem to say you feel back to normal eventually so don't give up hope!!

Hello there . I'm Jane as well and you sound just like me . I am 49 and due on anytime . My current symptom is constant nausea and acidy stomach . The more I think about it the worse it gets . I just feel like crying over it as it's taking over my life sand I don't want to keep feeling like this . I seem to live on polo mints as they are like my comfort blanket . I worry that I have stomach cancer or some other disease . I seem to have had every other symptom going over the past year and a half

Can you take magnesium?  Its really helpful.  Get into olive oil and flax seed oil for fish oil.  Calmax.  Get rid of stimulants.  Eat spinich salads.  Eat more salmon.

Yes we all are struggling. some good days and some bad ones. It is hard with both physical and mental issues related to it. Never prepared for this worse thing in life. Try HRT as AD did not work for me.
