hun i understand your fears hun

but at least this way you should get to the bottom of the problem.

fear causes anixety and anixety cases tighten of muscles and restricts blood flow increasing  pain. so try to breath slowly in and out and take it in slow one step at a time. dont think to far ahead . hope you get positive results.neutral

Concentrate on the thought that soon you're headache will go.  Yes there are scary things that cause headaches but there are reasons which can be quickly fixed too.  Focus on that she didn't think it was the level that she needed to call an ambulance for you there and then. Good luck x

Hope you went on alright, the doctor called an ambulance for me at the beginning of the year, she thought I'd had an aneurysm or a stroke, something else that was ticked off before I was diagnosed with tmj!

I thought it was my ear at first because that's where all the pain seemed to be, I may spell it wrong but it's temporalmandibular joint disease, where your jaw  and scull meet near your ear, it's the joint that's  effected, they told me the cartelidge has almost dissappeared, which is causing swelling in any cavity it can find and so much pain, if you Google tmj it gives quite a good explanation.
