I am in the U.S. I had a 10 day p.o. and have another at 6 weeks. Can't imagine waiting that long. Why don't u call and try to move your appt up? My dr told me to come in if I have any problems. He told me exactly what to expect and he has been right on target! Did yours tell u?

I'm in uk,apparently with this type of op,this is the norm.in uk our GPs don't work closely with the surgeons at hospital.unlike the U.S.I received good information on what to expect straight after the op.and what not to do prior to the 3 month follow up.Other women have commented on the lack of information given.so these forums have been excellent in providing help and reassurance. I do suffer from Diverticular ,and IBS.so this could be the culprit (hope so).especially with all the extra fibre. Lol.

Must apologise for the wrong spelling of suppository.

      (Must be age related)😂

What were you told to expect? Could you still see stitches. Was your bladder painful

      At times?

Im.guessing your digestive issues may have something to do with your healing.

Im.not sure you should be suffering a lot of pain and back ache.

Id highly recommend you seeing your consultant hun. I did after my post op appointment. They are there to help, even call his Secretary. Why worry unnecessarily.xx

Weesue, thank you for your comments so sorry to hear you are still having problems.it's alot to cope with.I still have pelvic and back pain, alot of the time.bm have improved slightly.I also get very weepy at times (bit like pms used to be).I wonder if this type of op interferes with hormones, have you felt like that at times.hope you are feeling alot better now, take care.x

You need to contact your consultant. Until you see him.you will worry.

      3 months is a long-time to wait.x
