Feel like I cant cope and feeling like I just need to cry a lot today. Feel like I'm going insane, what is wrong with me?!

I just say to myself that it's just my anxiety and it will always pass. I also keep myself distracted by playing puzzles on my ipad haha it sounds abouslety pathetic but it works for me, it takes my mind off my anxiety and my thoughts.

Many people act differently to their anxiety though xx

is there something new going on in your life that is causing you stress. any changes going on even something small that you might not think would cause anxiety can really turn it up. think about some things in your life that might have changed or things that might be going on to cause your anxiety level to go up. try and stop anxiety before it starts by keeping yourself busy doing deep breathing exercises really focus on your breathing in through your nose out through your mouth even research the pursed lip breathing technique it is really the only thing that helps me during these moments best of luck

Hi Freesia. Most of us here can sympathize and absolutely know how you are feeling. Crying actually helps a little. Once you are done crying your brain will release calming hormones. Let off some steam. Anxiety comes in waves. If you have transient situational anxiety...it will pass as soon as you feel in control of whatever situation is making you anxious. If you have anxiety disorder (persistant long term anxiety) or extreme stress, it is better to seek professional help to aid in faster relief. It will pass either way. It is all a natural state. Your brain is trying to get some point across. Anxiety is not a disease. It is a symptom signalling you need some healing. Hang in there.

PS. you may feel like you are going insane - but you won't go insane smile. You'll just get very tired. If you haven't already, do see your doctor if this has been going on for a while. Wishing you all the best.

Your body is in over survivor mode ironically. Its awful. Crying might not be such a bad idea its a strong stress reliever. You dont go insane from anxiety disorders so dont worry about that. They just mess you up till it causes mental and physical exhaustion.
