feeling totally alone. Think i have endo but dr arent saying much

After months of bleeding irregularly and having had a cyst on my right ovary, i now have a subsercosal fibroid on my right side. My question is everytime i have a scan they say my endometrial is thick and i have fluid/muscus aswell. i constantly have lower back pain and pelvis pain with period cramps when im not even on. I also get knife pains up my lady area when ive had a motion and when my bladder is full i get more pain aswell. I feel nobody is telling me anything and cos my fibroid is only small i feel im being fobbed off. Can this small fibroid cause me so much pain? i feel bloated alot of the time aswell and permanently feel im on my period. Also i feel heavy down there like i have a water infection and so many times i take a sample in and heres blood and protein in my wee but when its sent off theres nothing there. If anyone can shed some light on this id be very grateful. I believe i have endometriosis but they arent really saying anything about it.

Also im worried about the fluid that they keep finding aswell

Thankyou for taking the time to read this and id love to hear from someone who is going through the same xx many thanks xxx

Hi. I'm sure if they thought it was anything more serious they'd be sending you off for tests proto but if your worried keep asking for further tests. Your symptoms are exactly what I was feeling at it was endo. I've had the whole lot removed now. Not without its problems but a lot less pain. Ask to be referred to a specialist if you can and if your happy to have op to investigate all the problems it's the easiest way to get answers. Good luck

been to see dr yesterday and ive been told they cant see anything on an ultrasound to imply i have endo ! my ovaries are ok and not to worry about the fluid cos there isnt much,i do have subserosal fibroid but only small. And to top it off he said cos he cant find anything there cant be anything wrong and its all in my head and think i need depression pills!! well now i am depressed cos i cant believe he wants to put me on depression pills. Anyone else been told this? and my pain is worse when i go to the loo so why on earth am i getting these pains when they are soooo real . thankyou for reading x

I'm sorry that you have no answers. The amount of people on here that say they are fobbed off for ages and have to fight for further investigation. Keep going back and tell them you are not depressed but in constant unbearable pain and where do you go from here? My endo did not show on scan and I was riddled! Be a pain to Dr and keep on at them until you get answers !!

hello lovely, I too was told this was all in my head, i had to fight for 3 years to get someone to take me seriously! I FINALLY had my 2nd laproscopy (first by gynea) and got my diagnosis of endometriosis a week ago and though i'm in pain its a massive weight lifted. I spent 2 years thinking maybe it was in my head and I was going crazy, but i spoke to a psychologist and she told me if it was in my head id know. So please dont give up fighting for answers! Even if its not endo you need to know whats causing you this pain xx

Also endo doesnt show up on a scan only way to 100% find it is via laproscopy, believe me ive had 100s of scans!

It used to average 10 years of seeking medical help before getting an endo diagnosis, this has dropped to 8 years. 8 years is a lot of Doctors visits. The only way to diagnose endometriosis is laparoscopic investigation.

    Good luck.
