feeling unexplainable sensations while trying to sleep, what is this?

its nealry impossible to put this issue into a catagory, sorry if this is not posted in the correct place but i simply do not know what it is and there is nothing online that relates to my symptoms.

as the title suggest, the sensations im feeling while trying to sleep are litterallly impossible to discribe with words, but ill try my best.

so, most nights when i lay down for sleep, i begin feeling something like a tingling sensation at the base of my spine, it feels like tiny bubbles are gently rising around the base of my spine and then they pop. a few minuets after this sensastion begins, i start to feel something that is impossible to discribe, i feel something shoot up through my spine, its a very powerfull sensation and it causes my entire body to convulse and muscles contract.the sensation that shoots up my spine is not a something physical...if that makes any sense at all...i say its not physical because i can feel this sensation literally travel strait through the bones of my spines, the sensastions do not seem to be able to freely travel through out my body without any resistance, how is it possible for me to even feel something inside of my spinal bones? doesnt there need to be some sort of receptors inside the bones that can send signals to the brain? im not a doctor so maybe bones do have receptors are something. anyway, recently, the sensations have moved from the base of my spine to the middle of my spine, instead of the tingling sensastion, i feel a presure build and swell up in the middle of my spine, once it builds up enough, it releases and shoots this strange electric type of sensastion up my spine, causing my body and muscles to convulse.i try to control my body in attempt to stop it from convulsing but i simply cant prevent it.its almost like a sneeze, i can feel the sensation build up, then release all at once. these sensations will go on for hours and i cant get any sleep. when they start, the only way i can stop them is by getting out of bed and find something to distract my mind. by the way, these sensations only happen when i attempt to sleep. whats even more crazy is that i found that i can induce these sensastions myself at will. i know these sensastions are horrible but i had to test it, it seems that if i put my attention to feeling for these sensastions, then they will surley begin, this makes me think that it has something to do with my imagination, how ever, even if it does start from my imagination somehow, the convulsions and muscle spasm's that happen are very real and i do not see how my imagination could produce such effects on my body. i have lost so much sleep due to these sensastions, most nights i berly manage a couple hours of sleep before i have to start my day, im extremely exhausted.

due to a series of horrible events and bad luck, i have no id, ssn, birth certificate or anything at the moment so i can not see a doctor or anything. if someone could maybe tell me what this condition may be then it would be extremely helpfull.

the most info about this issue i have to work with thus far is non sense.after countless hours of searching online about this topic, the closest thing i have found that matches what im feeling is threads about "energy" and other spiritual mumbo jumbo.....i know what im feeling is real, there should be some sort of medical info about these sensastions availble, i cant be the only human to ever experience this.

Could be a few things maybe the way yr lying traps never s or fluid ? Just a guess also when yr anxious about something it can totally warp ur thinking, first of all go see yr doc simple blood test then an MRI to rule out anything dangerous. Do u get this if you lie down in the day?

i dont have a doctor, nor can i provide proof of identity at this moment.

i thought it may be the way i was position, how ever, it seems to happen no matter the position im in. this happens any time i lay down, regaurdless of day or night. the strangest part i cant explain is that i can induce these sensations at this very moment as i sit in this chair typing...all i have to do is pay attention to the area that these sensation happen at, then sure enough, they will crank up at full throttle. how is this possible?

Hi, You might want to check out Medical Quigong. It deals with the inner flow of energy (similar to acupunture). They have exercises that might calm yours down and channel it to help you heal. At least you might find someone with similar experiences. Mindfuness is another area that might help. You might just be very sensitive right now due to dealing with chronic pain. Always helps to find someone who shares your experiences.  Best wishes.
