Feeling very discouraged

Posted , 3 users are following.

So I started on fluoxetine 10 mg 10 weeks ago. Got bumped up 20, then bumped to 30, 2.5 weeks ago.

I am still having to take klonopin just to get through my days. When do you know this is just not the right med for you? Does each dose take many weeks all over again?

My recommendations to stop prozac immediately. As you can see they're making you get a higher does age and doesn't make you feel any better. I truly believe that we have to produce our own serotonin hormones naturally. I was on prozac for 2 weeks and it felt so terrible. It's been 45 days since I completely stopped and I feel great.

I do believe I need to be on an ssri. I was on celexa for 10 years and it worked until it pooped out on me. I really am just wondering if it takes this long on prozac. Thank you though.

Hi Heather I've been on Prozac for 4 years. It does take time to feel the effects. That said.. everyone has different experiences. I switched from lustral as it pooped out on me. I feel ok on Prozac. I hope it works for you too ☺
