Feeling winded

Hi All

I have RA and was diagnosed 3 years ago.  In the last couple of months I have been experience sharp pains all over my upper body and twisting pains in both of my kidney areas.  Over the last two weeks these pains seem to have subsided although I am still getting times where I suddenly inhale very deeply and even make a noise as though I have been winded.  This happens several times a day and can be embarassing as it happens when in a quiet room with others! It happens so often that I feel I am bruised underneath my breasts in the middle area.  Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? oh, i've also been suffering with anxiety so not sure if this could be related. I am now taking cocodamol (which I think is helping with the pain) Opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks.  Anna :-)

Hi Peter - Thanks for quick reply.  I've been to see doctor and he doesn't seem to know and has referred me to rheumatologist again so I guess i'll have to wait to see her.  It's so frustrating - and painful!!
