6th week on 30mg cipralex for anxiety . up and down as expected and then 1 week before my period and now during I feel back to square one!
Makes sense ??!!!
So disappointing! !!!!
Will it get better over the next cycles ?
Appreciate some feedback !

Yes it will get better! Serotonin levels drop right before your period & cause this feeling. It will get better the longer you’re on the drug. I had the same experience. I take Lexapro 20mg, basically the same drug. Give it mor time!

I just switched to Escitalopram 2 days ago so I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I bet it's better next cycle :-). Six weeks is still early days, and you might not be feeling the full affects of the med yet.
