Hello Tina, no it's not normal to feel like that.

It sounds like you're lacking in self confidence and maybe depressed. Before seeing the doctor and going on anti depressants, which may have side effects, try mindfulness, and changing your outlook to a more positive way of thinking i.e. instead of focusing on the things that don't go well for you, think of the things that do go well.

Also some people find it helps to keep a gratitude journal, and every day write down three things that you're grateful for.

    Good luck.

Hi Tina, I wouldn't say that what is happening to you is normal. But, it is also not uncommon. In this fast paced world we are living in, sometimes it is hard to keep up with the sudden changes that we get bombarded with. And, we end up feeling depressed and anxious. I have experienced the same feelings that you are talking about. I have tried just about everything to attempt to help myself including a healthy diet, exercise, counseling, reading the power of positive thinking books, etc. And..even though all of these changes helped me a little bit, I still continued to feel overwhelmingly depressed and anxious at times. Finally, my doctor decided to put me on an antidepressant..to see if it would help. Well, it did help me. I was able to think more clearly and had much less negative thoughts. I feel much better. So, I think sometimes..that medication can make a difference..especially if all else seems to fail. Speak with your doctor or other health care professionals..to decide which options are best for you. And..good luck to you, Tina. Take care!!

I bet this happens to almost anyone in this world at any stage of life. Depends on the situation and circumstances, each individual is put into pleasure or pressure. Right now, I can relate myself to you.

For the past month, I've been doing nothing productive, just wasting time and procrastinating. Earlier I was super motivated and self determined. I don't know all of a sudden, I just lost all the positive vibe and feeling worthless. Maybe it's due to what I am going through. I have been the best friend and worst enemy to myself.

But for sure, I know this is temporary and I am damn sure, this too shall pass. Maybe I am recharging myself, taking a break, fixing things inside of me or preparing myself for the next big shift of life.

Just remember one thing, whatever happens, just keep moving on. Its part and parcel of life. I know saying is easier and doing is tougher. But, this is our life and we are solely responsible for our happiness. And nobody is gonna come and help change it. So, I wish you all the very best and best of luck to get back on track with even more energetic than before and accomplish things which you always wanted.

"Prepare for the worst and hope for the best".
