Feels like something is in my throat

I woke up with sore throat yesterday, but didn't think anything of it a sore throat is a sore throat we get them from time to time. Then at some point in the afternoon something weird happened it felt as if something was in my throat, I thought it might be my uvula it might be swollen. But every time I talk or yawn it feels like whatever it is comes up and I have to swallow because it feels like I'm about the choke. I did have a really bad sore throat yesterday and was swallowing. Any advice? I don't wanna have to go to the doctor, but should I go? It hasn't gone away since this morning. It's just irritating

    Yes, pharmacy first. Speak to the pharmacist don't just ask for something for your throat.

    As Mrs Mop suggests check with the pharmacist and they will tell you if you need to see a doctor or not. Pharmacists are always very helpful and knowledgable often more so than doctors.
