I had a Trimalleolar fracture with dislocation. 6 weeks after 1 plate 14 screws I had my cast off. They put nothing on it no boot or anything. Last Saturday I fell and fell onto my ankle quite hard. It was soooo painful and since then it’s been more painful and swollen since. Has anyone else done this. I’m worried if I’ve done any damage.

I agree with Carolyn. She gave you good and nicely put advice. In the mean time it probably wouldn't hurt to follow the RICE guidance. Rest, Ice, Compress, and Elevate. I am trying not to chastise you for not getting in touch with your medical professional right away after your fall and instead reaching out to a public forum, but REALLY what were you thinking? Perhaps you are young and did not want to bother the doctors, but you are the important one. Never let anyone make you feel that you and your health is less important than anything else. Okay, I'm off my soap box. Good luck with your recovery!
