I'm on methotrexate and plaquinel. I'm 51 and 1 year into menopause. My question is for the ladies out there. Have any of you experienced a weird rash "down there"? I'm having a horrible time with dry cracking skin there. I finally got brave enough to look and yikes! It looks like maybe psoriasis? I have on/off issue with facial eczema, but never had it there. Is this related to RA, or my meds? I'm truly about ready to crack up. This has been a year of having my great health turn into poor health and now this.? I can't be intimate with my husband and finally had to explain to him why. What a horrible conversation... Sometimes I think it's time to jump off this bridge of life. I hate being so personal and Bob know I need to see a dr, I'm just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what can be done for it.     If you have white patches down there it might be a good idea to look into Lichen Schlerosus, an auto immune skin condition that often shows up during menopause. It is really important to be correctly diagnosed and treated quickly if that should be the case. A specialist in in vulvar diseases (for instance a vulvar dermatologist) can help you.
