Female with Extreme hair loss for over 6 months!

I'm 19 years of age, female, and I've been losing so much hair since about July-August.  My hairs thinned out so much, my ponytail is also very thin now. I thinned on the top, sides, even my side burns. I keep noticing premature hairs fall out as well, idk what to call them but small fuzzy baby type hairs that are sometimes not even a cm long fall out by the root. What could that be a sign of? My dermatologist isn't helping me at all. Please help. My hair parting line is also not semingky increasing in size but i can't cover it anymore and it's always noticeable now. I have a bad case of dandruff as well because when I come out of the shower, I have white things all over my head. I don't have patchy hair loss at all and my most noticeable hair loss must be on the top and a little bit on my temples and of course the thickness of my ponytail.

Some cuases that you can easily remedy is vitamin deficiencies. Iron is big. How is your diet? Are you eating enough of the right stuff? If you are in the UK ask them to run A full basic check to include thyroid, iron and ferritin, b12 and folate and vitamin d.

Hi, for your dandruff I would recommend Head and Shoulders conditioner. Leave it on for a generous few minutes and then rinse it off carefully. I found it is much more effective than antidandruff shampoos. To minimise irritation of your scalp I would recommend using a mild shampoo without sulfates.
