Femoroacetabular Impingement

Posted , 5 users are following.

Following Femoroacetabular Impingement (cam pincer) surgery on 1/20/17 I experienced zero change in range of motion. To the millimeter (e.g., putting on socks)

The surgeon was unable to dislocate the hip due to size of the impingement

Intensive physical therapy does help, but benefits remain for hours only

When I lie face down my left hip does not touch the bed

Pain is not that bad but my flexibility has shown no improvement

Is my hip joint bad? Or is this a tendon issue?

Before and after pictures attached
