Hi, I had my menopause at age 34 due to agressive chemo treatment. I'm now 55 and have been diagonosed with Osteopenia and well on the way to Osteoporosis,  also have vaginal atrophy. Tried the topical HRT but it didn't help much.  My gyni started me on Femiston Conti 1mg/5mg three months ago and I feel great. I had some breakthrough bleeding for a few days and slightly tender boobs. I don't suffer with hot flushes but didn't sleep well. Since taking HRT I sleep like a baby. biggrin Both my GP and gyni say that in my curcumstance by taking HRT for 5 years the benifits will outweigh any risks

Thanks for your reply. I've been on Femoston for 5 weeks now. Felt better on the progesterone weeks but sticking with it. Been having headaches in morning this week so not sure if that is the HRT or not. Just glad to feel 'normal' again!!

I take the combined Femiston so get a daily dose of both estrogen and dyrogesterone. I do have migraines but the HRT hasn't made it any better or worse.
