My ferritin went from 1887 to 174 after 13 weeks of weekly phlebotomies. Is that faster than normal?

That is about what it my husband also. He's at 55 now after 8 mths.only going once every 2 months now. For blood work to check his levels. If he's stays below he doesn't have to go in.

Wow chris that's a fantastic result. I'm a fit 60yr old having weekly phlebotomy dropped from 1975 to 1266 after 9 which I'm happy but my TS went from 94% > 89% > 98% but they said as long as sedan levels dropping that's fine at the moment. ( I have cirrhosis caused by GH) so eating healthy as well
