Fever for 5 months, parenchymal changes in lung and parotis - what is my diagnosis?

Hi,

I'm a previous healthy 22-year old woman, who got sick in March. It all initially started with a cough and fever, however the cough soon declined but the fever persisted. I have since the middle of March had a temperature everyday between 38-39.5 degrees. My doctor ordered some testing, and came back with an elevated LD (4.8) and WBC (10.8 - very moderate).

Because of the elevated LD, I was ordered a CT in the beginning of June, to examine whether I might have a lymphoma. The CT showed a small lymphnode in the neck region (1 cm) which is not believed to be a lymphoma and thereby cause the fever, but will be biopsied in a couple of weeks. In addition, parenchymal changes were noticed in the top part of one lung, as well as parenchymal changes in the parotis gland on one side.

Other symptoms include those of fever, such as chills and headaches. I have lost some weight. Mostly I'm just very very tired. Lab tests for SLE etc are all negative.

Does anyone have an idea on what's wrong with me? I'm so tired of being ill and not getting diagnosed. Open to any suggestions at this point!

English is not my first language so I apologise for any misspellings or faulty grammar 😃
