Hi, You could try Chia seeds, they are better soak in some water for an hour or two, if you put 2 tablespoons of Chia seeds in a glass of water let it soak for 1 or 2 hours and stir well, it go glutinous, add some juice for taste, Chia Seed are packed with fibre, info online,

    Hello

Some people with this complaint need to take Fibre it acts as bulk and can effect the stool. I understand some may need alternative diet plans and your GP will help.

There are pages on site that can assist you understanding IBS. However I would suggest you talk to your GP and they will advise on a diet that will help. Are you stressed regarding your Uni course.?

    Talk to your GP

I do not feel stressed but I may be subconsciously. My gp surgery is useless as most doctors are for IBS it seems ( not that I blame them in a way, you can't be a specialist in everything!) The only thing they recommend is fybogel or movicol.

I am currently living on Fybogel

I made 2 boxes last me my entire 20's. If I ever had a bit runny or a bit of a straining sessions 1 or 2 of these and It was generally sorted.

Since my current problems started In January I am on my 4th box. I don't really know if its doing me any harm but I've read loads of people who also seem to live on them just for the increase of fibre into their diets. I don't think I've ever had any issues with them and they generally help me to go (I currently dare not take them)
