fibro and desk job

does anyone do a desk job and have fibro that (amongst other things) causes pain in lower back, bum, hips and back of thighs, throbbing, stabbing, aching - I've asked for a desk that goes up and down so I can stand up and sit down as it waxes and wanes I walk around but as soon as I sit back down it kicks off again - any advice from anyone else in the same situation? Hi

I am a sewing machinist for an upholsterer so spend my days sitting at a sewing machine. It’s the sitting in the same position for long periods that causes my pains (exactly the same as yours). I’ve been allowed to split my breaks into 6 15 minute breaks instead 3 30 minute breaks. Pain relief gel rubbed in gently helps a little. Hope you find some relief X
