Fibro and Morning stiffness

Hi,

Does anyone else suffer really bad morning stiffness?

When I wake up if I've been sleeping on my front I get really bad aching pain in my chest and the same if I sleep on my back I wake up with terrible back pain. It takes an hour or two each morning before it starts to improve?

Thanks

Kelly

Yes, i have stiffness in my back, arms, hands, and legs every morning. No matter what time I go to bed I can only lay for a few hours before waking in pain.

My GP says its an age thing however the pain is so bad at times can barely walk.

My current meds are becoming less effective and Gp now at a loss as I am already on high doses of pain relief.

Hiya Kelly, when I'm having a bad flare up I feel like I've  been run over by a Mac Truck, However it does get better as the day goes on and I move about of course, especially love it when it is settled right down "remission" for while.  I use many hot water bottles and wheat packs, their, just soooo good for the pain and stiffness.  I use magnesium oil  by spray for muscles and pain.it's only Epsom salts but I can't bathe in it  any more as I can only use a shower now, I take double the recommended daily dose of Magnesium supplements too, actually I take double the daily recommended dose of most supplements..dr recommended, at the moment I'm trialling tumeric tablets for 6 months as they are awesome for us with this rotten Fibro.  Hope your feeling better really soon Kelly, be blessed, gentle hugs from across the seas, assuming your not in Australia that its, have a lovely day. God bless💐😘

hi Kelly, I get it too. I normally sleep on my right side and often wake up with pain in my right hip and shoulder. Sometimes it gets so bad I have to sleep on my left side for a while.
