Fibro and swallowing difficulties

I was diagnosed with Fibro this year and relate to many of the symptoms that I read about from other people's experiences. One thing I don't see posted much is problems with swallowing? My throat clunks and sometimes it feels like there is a marshmallow or something soft wedged.

As a result I often get acid reflux and food that hasnt been digested properly coming back up. its a really scary feeling and I can't help but worry that my throat muscles will continue to get weaker.

All of my other muscles and joints are constantly snapping and cracking too and I feel like my right shoulder is coming lose from its socket. I can't turn my head without a constant clicking and grinding.

I had MRI of brain, neck and spine in May and all was fine and I've had lots of blood tests with nothing sinister. I'm on 50mg of levothyroxine for hypothyroidism and HRT for menopause. since turn 51, 9 months ago my physical health has deteriorated almost over night. The rheumatologist prescribed me 10mg of amtriptyline which I haven't started taking yet. Not sure what I'm looking for on this forum, my Dr is just bored of me and now I've seen a neurologist and rheumatologist who say it's fibro/muscle tension I don't know where else to go with these symptoms that aren't widely reported as Fibromyalgia 😞

try physical therapy. it has helped me tremendously. learn how to strengthen areas that will help with eliminating pain. learn what mindfulness is and use for movements daily . most of all accept and learn your new limitations and use what you have learned thru therapy to accomplish daily tasks. stay strong, active and at a good weight . its adjustments that will help give freedom from medications and pain. also good use water therapy to help build strength and keep in shape. muscles hold the bones in place they need to be strong to give you the freedom to enjoy life.
