Fibro & pregnancy

Hi , I was recently diagnosed with fibro in August 2017. I had the general symptoms the aches, pains, tiredness and fatigue. However me and my partner after trying for our first baby have finally got a positive pregnancy test today. I am just wondering if anyone has been through a pregnancy with fibro and what other symptoms you got. Did it make everything worse? Just preparing for what to expect :-D

I did my research before I got pregnant, basically you have a 50/50 chance of being worse or better. I was lucky and was better until most of the last trimester. My advice, dont overdo it and rest when your body tells you to. I was even able to paint a room with feeling better and nesting syndrome lol but boy did I feel it later! The biggest issues are after, dont feel bad if you never use the changing table but the couch instead, make things as easy as possible for you and make sure your partner and anyone else in your life can be there if you need it. Congratulations!!

Hiya thank you for your reply. I did a little research a while ago and I did read that it would make things worse. I prefer to know people's story's and their experience as the internet is mostly just generic research. I do get tired very easily at the moment never mind throughout the pregnancy but I have a supportive family and my partner is always with me. Thanks for your help I'll keep the changing table to sofa in mind !
