FIBROIDS

I am 52 years of age and got told about 8 years ago that I was entering my menopause. I had really heavy bleeding and when I had a scan I got told I have 2 fibroids each the size of a lemon. My periods are so heavy that I have to wear Tena lady and then a pad and toilet roll to help leaking everywhere. I thought that if the aged people use Tena for urine incontinence then surely they'll work for heavy bleeding. I constantly have to wear a pad inbetween periods as I got a watery discharge and can even feel it come away from me at times. I went to bed last night without a pad or anything and when I got up fluid ran down both my legs. Sometimes it'sclear and sometimes it's yellow tinge but runny. The strange thing is is when you touch the fluid in your fingers and rub them together it dries almost instantly. It's really weird. Sometimes I'll get a slight smell but not all the time. LADIES...be vigilant when you eat fish. A friend once told me that she smelt the next day after eating it. I didn't believe her, but it's true. The things we have to put up with us poor women 😬 but anyway, that's my story. Just waiting for my extremely heavy periods to finish (where's that on/off switch) but meanwhile I must carry on taking my iron tablets for anaemia. I have a Mirena coil too. I have had no surgery as my consultant said it's not worth it because over time they will shrink. Trying to be patient 🤪
