Hi all . I had an abdominal myomectomy on the 7th of May my problem is that i still get swellings in my incision.. has anyone had the same problem and for how long. I am worried and my gynae says im healing very well. Your help will be much appreciated.

I had my surgery - abdominal myomectomy- exactly 7 days after you. My incision is completely healed and I have no swelling, pain or any issues. Just numbness but that too is improving. Do you want to maybe get a second opinion? l wish you the best and complete healing.

It take a while sometimes, in as much the wound is not open and no redness... you are doing great. The healing may takes a while. I had mine done is March, I am much better now, I had to take two month off work to get better but I am well back on my fit now.
