Fibromaylgia or not

I have been diagnosed with fibromaylgia for a few months now an is having a hard time excepting it. I'm a health worrier an I always assume the worse an think it's more than what it is. Can anyone with fibro relate to any of these symptoms an if so which ones. I have pain mostly in arms an legs, muscle twitching, lately facial pain, migraines, fatigue, my arms an legs is tired quick after activity, soreness in back of legs when walking, sometimes it feels like my feet an legs get a little numb, an depression. I also have tender spots that hurts when i touch, breast gets really sore at times, i clench so sometime my mouth will be fatigue when chewing. I take gabepentin 300mg but doesn't help. Tryed lyrica an cymballta but made me sick. I will also wear compression socks when legs hurt an it really helps. I would really like to see if any of my symptoms match with your fibro symptoms especially of my arms an legs getting tired with activity.
Thanks so much!

Well, according to some authors that's the defining line: if you have all those symptoms but can still sleep then it's not fibromyalgia. It can be thyroid, adrenal or some other metabolic or hormonal dysfuntion.
I'll PM you a link so that you can learn and assess that for yourself.
Take care. Teresa.

im afraid you've joined a club no one wants to be in. That said you'll get lots of support and advice from all of us on here. I think it's safe to say that almost all of the symptoms you've described are typical of fybro, that's if there is any such thing as typical. As you read the other responses you'll notice that some of us will have some or most of your symptoms and others will have another set of symptoms although there will always be a crossover in what we experience.
Worrying about your health can in fact make some of your symptoms worse, so it's important that you try to relax a little. I know,it's much easier said than done. Hopefully as you get talking on here you'll realise that your not alone with this. We really understand what it's like. You can rant, ask questions and within a short space of time you will find your responding in much the same way as we are.
it takes time to find out what works for you but take heart that if one person doesn't have an answer, there will be 5more you can suggest something. I hope you find what you read here helpful in some way.
Take care, gentle hugs.
