Big toes in pain after nail trimmed is odd. I can only think of arthritis in the toe from holding it in a odd way .. There r many types of arthritis..or fungus, ingrown nail or hammer toe.

My toes have psoriatic arthritis. When hold the toe and positioning it for trimming it can irritate the joints.

My big toes have really curved under nails, find it hard to get scissors under the nail

try to go to the chiropodist, find it hard these days to go anywhere with my balance being bad, makes me mad when I think that 12 months ago could do everything, eat anything, and now trying to find a diet for my fibromyalgia, anxiety and ibs.

7days off duloxetine and suffering badly with fibro fog  and feeling awful, will never go on another med that interferes with your brain, never

thanks for reply i think most drugs effect the brain a lot effect the stomach to thats why i am doing best to stay away from main stream drugs, i am not anyworse than most people on this forum and in some cases better i still have al the symptoms at one time or another,

like eating the wrong food will set my symptom of i b s of

cleaning my house fromn top to bottom in a day, will leave me stiff and in pain , after years of piecing bits of fibro puzzle together

, noting stuff that happens and why and when i manage to keep a lid on my condition it still limits me and restricts me , which is frustrating, but if it means keeping the pain and fatigue and ibs and depresssion under the explosive point then its worth it . if you were diabatic you would nt eat a box of choclates and expect to feel well

we just have alot more symptoms to deal with.

Toes with curled nails can be painful..try moisturizer to soften them easier to trim after a good soak..

And UR having balance issues...I don't want to fall.. So sometime I use a cane for stability.

do u know what causes UR balance issues? I have that issue due to my hips & back ...nerve damage.

As many of us we are all in the same boat with many symptoms to adjust too! Stay well stay strong..

      healing thoughts sent UR way!
