Fibromyalgia

hi all I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia recently. I am waiting for a follow up appointment to see the specialist about treatment. I have read about daith piercing in the ear. Has anyone tried the piercing and did this work for you ? I do not want to go on drugs as you can put on more weight ! Please advise on your own experiences. Thanks.

Hi, I maybe wrong but in my experience with docs regarding my fibro there are no specialists for this but it would be great to know if things have changed,

The piercing sounds good if effective. ..again will be great to see if others can add some info.

If you don't get on with drugs then it could be worth exploring cbd and tumeric based products, there's a lot of forums on Facebook with good information.

Good luck with what ever you chose

I meant to mention I gave my blood test to my dr friend who checked my blood levels wondered why I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia as my blood levels did not show that ??

Don't think you can diagnose nor discount fibro on the basis of a blood test, for me and many others fibro is the name given for a multitude of ailments that don't seem to have a specific reason, some even undetectable in testing.

Everyone's symptoms are different and you need to look at different treatments based on this.

Cbd is a cannabis extract sold as a food additive from places like Holland and Barrett, but it would be best for you to research and get other opinions before jumping in, have a look on cbd users UK on Facebook where you will also find a lot of information on fibro.
