Hi Donna I havnt heard of any of the meds you have mentioned . I take oxactin each day for my depression .but for my fibro I'm trying to just cope on a mixture of paracetamol with codine and ibuprofen, just recently I have been taking tramadol as been getting very bad neck and shoulders with bad headaches . I have a sports massage every 6 weeks which helps but is very expensive at £60 for 1 hour. I've tried gabepeptin but hated it gave me very weird spaced out feelings . I try to keep as active as I can as this seems to help most . Gently walking , swimming . I have s spiky massage ball which I put against the wall and my back and roll over it .It's like a mini massage and that helps . Don't tho k there is anything that will stop all the pain and stiffness. Have u tried naproxen that helped a bit . Xx

Thank you for your reply I wish over the counter pain meds would help me but they don’t touch the sides but my doctor really thought the milnacipran would be my saviour but no it’s a pain blocker antidepressant some people have great success others no I live in Australia so not sure where you live but the 10mg OxyContin twice a day helps with my pain I need and am trying different antidepressants that will help me sleep and not feel so emotional thank you again 😘

    HI Donna,

Ive had Fibro for some time.. My pain is in my shoulders and arms and elbows  and is the worst in the mornings and evenings.  I currently take 1  - 325 mcg Percocet every 6-8 hours as needed and 7.5 mg prednisone in the morning at 5am when I get ready for work.  So I take the Percocet at 5am and then again about noon. Again about 4:30pm and again at 9-10pm. I also take Lyrica 3x a day along with the Percocet in the AM, NOON and at night. It helps a lot and I use a heating pad at night along with my electric mattress pad.  I also have a great doctor here in WI, but not such a supportive family, but great friends.

I do what I can when I can. I work FT , because it is a desk job, and not a lot of running around.

Maybe taking Lyrica would help you. During the winters here I also sometimes take MS COntin 10 mg at night instead of the Percocet. During the winter it seems to help more to sleep.
