Fibromyalgia

I have been disabled for twenty years through back injury, just recently I have been having symptoms of fibromyalgia, my neck and shoulders are agony and my head feels like it’s in a vice, it’s not a migraine as I have those, I feel absolutely awful. I use hot water bottles around my neck a cold flannel for my forehead and take Diazepam and paracetamol, I am on Tramadol slow release and also nortriptyline at night. I am due to see a rheumatologist in May. Does anyone else get these symptoms?

I have no energy and can only cope with ten minutes of doing something then have to sit down.

I am so miserable and down whether it is the diazepam I’m not sure, but I only take them when really nesesary as I know they are addictive. Thank you

I have all of that Sue. I don't know why it started and I have taken nothing because I'm more worried about the long term effects of drugs. 😕
